Located: Virgen del Carmen, Estepona, Estepona town, Malaga

This charming fisherman´s cottage is a great place to stay when spending a holiday in Estepona. It is just a few metres from the beach and close to town and the port. There is street parking to the right of the house however it is not always guaranteed but usually available. The property has been fully modernised and it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen and lounge area. All the rooms have independent air con units for cooling and heating. Two king size beds and a bunk bed. The master bedroom is en-suite and there is a second family bathroom with a walk-in shower. The modern open kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area includes a smart TV with a good choice of international programs along with Sky channels. There is also a high-speed fibre optic Wifi internet connection for your use. You may also find a lovely indoor dining area for four guests right next to the kitchen and lounge. Going up a flight of steps you gain access to your own large private roof terrace with amazing sea views and dining area with plenty of sunlight all day long surrounded by lovely tropical plants. There are two large awnings that may be opened for shade covering the sun loungers and the comfortable seating area next to the gas-powered BBQ. There is also a nice outdoor shower in case you want to cool down or to wash off the sun cream. A small sink with running water is available next to the BBQ for your alfresco meals and at night time, LED lights have been installed to make a lovely environment to spend your evenings. The private roof terrace is a great bonus and you will probably want to spend most of your time in this area. We are sure that you will enjoy this property and regular holiday makers will definitely want to return in the future.

Location

This lovely three bedroom fisherman´s cottage is located just a few metres from the beach in a narrow cobbled road between Estepona port and the town centre. It is one of the original houses within the grounds of the traditional fisherman´s quarter. The house is very close to everything you need whilst on holiday and there are several supermarkets nearby including one in the port which is open every day from 8am to 2pm. There are several restaurants and bars all within an easy walk from the property. There is a parking space next to the cottage and although it is normally available for the house, it cannot be guaranteed. Estepona is an up and coming resort which is improving year on year and it is always packed with flowers on every street and all the roads have become pedestrianised. The beaches are always kept nice and clean and town hall spends a lot of time planting many Mediterranean palm trees throughout. We can organise day trips to Morocco, Ronda by train or Granada. Airport transfers and car hire can also be booked through Time in Spain Holidays SL when making your reservation to ensure a smooth holiday.

Price Notes:

In accordance with Spanish law, we require passport or national ID card for each person in the group of 16 years of age or older.
You may not be allowed to check into the property until after the earliest arrival time given and that you must vacate the property by 11am. This is to provide the cleaners time to prepare the property. Normally, however, you are able to drop your bags after 11am when there is a same day change, however, you must accept that the cleaning procedure may not have been completed and you might need to come back later. If the property hasn´t a same day changeover then you can normally arrive after 12 noon. It is important that you click on the link we provide and give us your flight details so that we can do our best to have the property prepared for you. Please don´t send these by email as it is easy for you to enter the details yourself.
We hire out many items such as cots, high chairs, extra beds where available. Please request them at the time of booking, if possible.
Fireplaces are not allowed to be used in any property due to insurance requirements and obvious risk.
Where international television channels or internet service are advertised, we cannot be held responsible for any interruption or suspension of service.
Where heated pools are arranged, we aim to raise the temperature to 28 C degrees as a standard temperature; however, we cannot guarantee this temperature due to weather conditions. Higher temperatures may be possible for an additional charge and by arrangement.
Extra beds are defined as portable beds or sofas which fold open. We provide sheets and extra towels for the extra people staying, subject to the additional payment.

Payment and Booking Terms

To secure a reservation, we require a 30% deposit by bank transfer (in Sterling or Euro) or by credit card via our bank’s secure server. The balance is due six weeks before arrival. Security deposit is payable on arrival by credit card - this is returned to the same card within a week of departure, subject to no damages or breakages (e.g. dirty towels due to make-up). Properties should be left clean as they were found and should be handled with respect. All prices are subject to a booking fee. American Express cards are not accepted. A late arrival charge of 30€ is charged for arrivals from 8:00PM or 50€ for arrivals after midnight and will be deducted from your security deposit if not paid in cash upon arrival. We do have a key safe at our office in the port of Estepona from which you can collect the keys to your property if you prefer. There is no late night fee for this arrangement.
