When flying to the Costa del Sol for your holiday, the main airport that people think of flying to is Malaga, however, be aware that you can also fly into Gibraltar Airport from the UK.

Another airport to try is Jerez de la Frontera. Jerez (pronounced 'Hereth') is a small airport but is becoming more popular since the building of the new fast motorway link to the Costa del Sol. If you really are stuck for reasonable flight prices to Malaga or Gibraltar then give Jerez a try. To give you an idea of distance, the drive to Estepona will take you about 1.5 hours from Jerez, 40 minutes from Gibraltar and about one hour from Malaga.
